Spectral Chime
The Spectral Chime is a 5' high electromechanical electronic sculpture featuring four remotely actuated gongs with rear mounted strikers. Footprint 36" x 36". When the strikers are triggered, the electronic attribute reacts to the sound and produces shimmering light patterns through a series of super bright LED's placed across the sculpture. This sculpture is an example of sensory inputs and reactionary effects in electronic systems, conductivity, electromagnetic effects, force & leverage, visual & wave length specific electromagnetic emissions, photons, sound, frequency & amplitude. The standard version requires a grounded 120 V AC outlet, proper location and a mounting for the control panel and is $9,700.oo US Plus shipping and crating.
