Robotic Division
In order to design and fabricate robotic devices that mimic biological life you can: 1- spend years in college studying each of these areas; electrical, electronic, mechanical, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, relativity, materials science, electromagnetism, energy, optics (just to name a few) and learn how to skillfully use shop machines like lathes, drill presses, saws, etc; 2- take a course in mechatronics, as it covers many of the above aspects; 3- join a team of other robotic enthusiasts who's combined knowledge includes the above areas; or 4- you can develop the comprehensive ability and mental discipline required to teach yourself. This is possible for anyone with enough motivation and faith. The average human only uses 6% of their brain, so everyone has the ability to learn many things providing they make the effort. One should start learning when young and continue learning each and every day. Books, educational websites, hands on experience with building experiments and prototypes, observing nature and the natural order of how things work, are among the best teachers. Most importantly, set an idealistic goal in life for what you learn.
