How we currently conform to our Goals & Standards

We use low impact materials in our production including, but not limited to, soy based glue for plywood, water based paints that are low VOC, water based wood glues, lead free soldiers, ROHS compliant parts when ever possible.

We buy new high quality metal for our creations. The scrap material generated is reclaimed to make small parts and art. At the final phase the smallest scrap is moved to the recycling bins and taken to recycling facilities. The same process is also done for the wood materials, but in the case of the wood, the final material is biodegradable directly to the environment. Plastics are used in moderation and also go through the same process of being used until almost every scrap is utilized. All the material reclaimed in our fabrication process goes through a screening in which it is determined for use in either art of science related displays and research and development projects. Old electronic parts are also recycled when ever anything is decommissioned from our shop or deemed obsolete.

We currently exceed all US standards for low impact electronic parts and systems and conform to over 90% of the European ROHS standard in all of our products with a goal of 100% before years end. Many of our products have reached the 100% mark already and are available for export to Europe as well.

Our standard is that all of our products must also be educational and of a morally high standard, (viewable and beneficial to all ages).

Our research and development projects are designed to assist people with disabilities and to assist the environment. Data regarding some of this is viewable at our R & D link.

We are restoring an old school structure to create our institute and converting it to run off alternative energy.

We founded two nonprofit organizations, where board members do not get paid for their service, which function as humanitarian and environmental services to the community and the world.
