MOSAA, a 501-C 3 nonprofit community oriented organization, that was founded by John Siegel and Victoria Croasdell in December of 1995, changed it's name to "Education For Prosperity" and merged with a charitable project called "The Friends of Pichon", which was formed by David Smith and Pierre Balthazar, in 1999 to assist the village of Pichon, Haiti, to overcome severe poverty conditions. This merger took place in October of 2004, and functions as a humanitarian and environmental service to the community and the world. Education for Prosperity, Inc.
Education for Prosperity, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide programs of education and service that increase prosperity in disadvantaged communities-locally and internationally.
Our accomplishments to date include;
· building a school in the village of Pichon, Haiti, which currently educates children from kindergarten through fourth grade with an additional grade added each year · building supporting physical and administrative infrastructure for the school · coordinating a modest program of nourishment for the students · providing volunteer opportunities for individuals to work in the Pichon community · raised awareness of the material needs of families in and around Pichon, Haiti. · created and maintain a computer loan program for underprivileged families and charitable organizations (such as RAVE; relief after violent encounter). · regularly participate in a touring science program for schools.
