Exhibits/Props can be either Rented or Purchased Rentals are Subject to Availability & Technical Approval. "Please Book Well In Advance" These arms are designed for Film production use. They have speed controls for each arm function, castor mounted floor standing control panels and telepresence boards which allow them to be operated up to fifty feet away from the arms, if required, or from a few feet away if needed. No programming required. These arms "Act" their part in the production, via "User Friendly" controls. ROBOTIC ARM RENTAL PRICES: 1- a one week rental, for two 3 finger arms, controls and power supplies = $2,805.00. This is a better arm for dexterous movements such as picking up a variety of objects. 2- a one week rental, for two 5 finger arms, controls and power supplies = $3,305.00. This is a better arm for scenes requiring a human like quality. The Rental Period starts the day the arms leave our shop and ends the day the arms return to our shop. If you need to go beyond the one week actual rental, it is a prorated charge of: 1- $401.00 per extra day for the 3 finger arms. 2- $472.00 per extra day for the 5 finger arms.
A Security Deposit of $2,040. per arm, is required and is returned within 14 days after we have received and inspect the arms. You must pay shipping to and from our facility to yours. You must carry insurance for damages to the arms while in your care. Although the five finger version has a more human quality and independent movement in each finger and thumb by mimicking the users finger movements across the control panel buttons, the three finger is however the most dexterous when it comes to actual manipulation of objects.
