Electropet

This 2 ft. high robot is built for demonstrations and classes. It can be setup to react like a living creature with Boolean logic based “Artificial Instinctive Behavior” or be programmed for certain tasks. In an instinctive mode it will:
1- React to light: Example, Seek out and move toward light;
2- React to Sound: Example, Loud sounds cause agitated behavior;
3- React to Touch: Example, Petting calms it down or puts it to sleep. It can be programmed to say up to sixteen phases in response to cer
tain stimulus. Electropet’s speech is created using Dast technology allowing the exhibit to interact with the user with speech which is impressed on a ISD/Winbond DAST Chip and amplified through a Cebek amplification module. The arm is designed to react to a couple of supplied objects and grasp them. Example; it is capable of retrieving and tossing it’s supplied ball. The electropet is designed to have a friendly unintimidating appearance. It has a strong aluminum frame, acrylic dome and heavy-duty commercial grade components. Unlike smaller units on the market the Electropet will take vigorous use in public demonstrations without being crushed or failing under strain. The robot is powered by a non-spillable gel-cell battery which is rechargeable via a supplied charging unit. The Electropet is a spin-off development of our curriculum enhancement programs with school systems and science organizations.
